Ozark Mountain Lanyards
At Ozark Mountain Lanyards we strive to make the highest quality, most visually appealing products that perform beyond expectations in the outdoors.
Fist of all, I would encourage all to get to know the one and only true God. We have been blessed with the outdoors and have a promise of everlasting life due to God's grace and love.

Like most hunters, I am just a simple man who enjoys being out in God's country. There is no other place I would rather be than in the outdoors with nature totally surounding me. After my comitment to God, and then my love for my family, being in the woods or on the water is my third passion in life. I have a very loving and patient wife who tries her best to understand my passion for the outdoors. Even if I were to spend every waking moment doing what I love, without my wife and kids to share it with, it would be meaningless. I also have a few children whom I am looking forward to passing my love for the outdoors to. There are few things more satisfying than to see my kids enjoying there time with their family in the outdoors. Without my family and friends, my passion would just be another hobby.

That is a glimpse of where Ozark Mountain Lanyards comes from. I have always been tinkering with the gear I use in the field and trying to make it better. That is where I came up with the lanyards I make. I am trying to make a product that will cater to every hunter and their individual needs. My goal is to produce a high end, truly custom product that performs beyond your expectations.

It all started about 28 years ago in, Naylor, a small farm town in southeast Missouri - the kind of place where a boy can be a boy.
I was raised in a great family that was always rustlin' the bush for some type of game. My parents taught me that God always comes first; family second & myself last.
I am fortunate to have a great wife & an awesome 3 year old son. Hopefully I can carry this great hunting tradition on to my lil'man and he will gain a great appreciation for the great outdoors.
Whether I'm in a hardwood hunting an illusive whitetail, on the ground floor listening to the drum of an ol' tom, or in a duck blind waiting for first light, my passion for the outdoors is sometimes hard to explain. Droppin' the hammer and closin' the coffin on anything with antlers, feathers or fur just never gets old.
I'm proud to say that I'm a small part of Ozark Mountain Lanyards & plan to keep on participating in on the Good traditions till the Good Lord slows me down.

David Taylor (AKA) “Rebel” - I was born and raised in Southwest Missouri. Many avid waterfowlers know that Southwest Missouri is a far cry from the flooded green timber of Arkansas and the corn field of Northern Missouri. However, along with some of his best hunting buddies, Nathan and John, have figured out how to... “Git-R-Done” . I am in my 30's, married to my lovely wife Amanda, and have one daughter currently 5 whom is my true hunting buddy to the core, Madelyn known as “Jr. Reb”. In the Spring you will find me chasing Longbeards all over Southern Missouri, catching Trout in the cold waters of Lake Taneycomo and come summer you will find me wishing and waiting for the fall. As the temps begin to drop and the days get shorter Waterfowl Season is almost here! Opening day, whether it be in Missouri or Kansas I am like a kid on Christmas Day. I can't wait for that first group of greenheads to dump into the spread, feet down... wait...wait... Take em'

Waterfowling is always on my mind, not a day goes by that I am not thinking, planning, hoping for season to get here. Best of luck to your upcoming season..

Raised among the streams and timber of the Ozark Plateau, J.L. quickly found his heart drawn to those places where wild game could be found. Next in line behind his faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to family, hunting and fishing is at the least a passion. He has logged over 25 years of hunting and fishing experience in North America from Oklahoma up through South Dakota and Alaska. However, he most enjoys hunting in his native area of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas. Pictured with J.L. is his golden retriever “Okie”. She is also a valued member of the OML family.
